Material Process

From raw stone
to breathing form.

Each commission begins with the stone or steel itself — not a sketch. The material proposes; the sculptor responds. Weeks pass in the company of a single block before a single cut is made.

The weld joins what cannot be carved. The patina is applied by hand, never sprayed — iron oxide, salt water, time. The collector receives not just the object but the record of its making.
